I was taught you were the wild one. In your natural state, uncontrolled. Our reason, we thought, would tame the wild. Blind to our wildness, eventually we had to call the current epoch of a spiraling environment Anthropocene. We morphed the wild. ‘I’m wilder than you’ is an act of recognizing our wildness, a desire to be embraced by the communal entanglement of becoming, to feel and to be touched by nature. The one-minute loop video with cracking sounds of growth and warping sounds of electricity invites the ivy with heart-shaped leaves to bewilder us.
