“My idea was to create a simple, rough wooden construction in a shape of “senseless” symmetrical stairs with the pick in the middle. The regular depth and hight of the streps are appealing to climb but the very top step is as large as all the others and looks uncomfortable, unsecured and even frightening on that hight.
The symmetry of the stairs, when the installation is looked aside, would rise the questions to which part is applied “Up” or “Down” from the title. I would like to live the work open for the interpretations taking all the references and feelings which the object and the title could bare.”
