Born in 1949 in Zagreb. Lives and works in Zagreb.
Sunčane naočale (Sunglasses) forms part of the project Ženska kuća (Women's House), 1998- in which the artist focuses on violence against women. The work consists of a series in which Iveković uses advertisements for well known brands of sunglasses (Hugo Boss, Armani, Gucci, Calvin Clein, etc).Onto these she inscribes stories of women who have been subjected to domestic violence and who have sought refuge at shelters for abused women. The women's stories has been produced by women themselves during the workshops which artist has conducted at the shelters. The work has been published in the form of posters, as artist's pages in newspapers and magazines and as exhibition prints.
