Global climate change, depletion of natural resources, plastic pollution, energy crises, economic stalemates, racism, inter-class division, social alienation and at the top of all of these a global epidemic; it can undoubtedly be argued that the technological civilization we established ourselves as a species is at a critical turning point. The "Human Age", which sweeps the planet we live on like a storm and extends back at least for half a century, has all the qualities and quantities defined as dystopia in countless fiction works.

The 12kernel project attempts to keep an up-to-date record of the moment in order to challenge and reflect on the possibility of humankind for surviving and coping with the sequence of crises, using the intelligence and creativity against all threats against its own species at this critical threshold where we are present.

The network of concepts that the Constellation weaves around consists of similar thresholds in our culture. In the "now", where the past and the future overlap, all the dynamics of relations between the individuals forming humanity turn into a mass memory, even a common consciousness. This cognition, which consists of clustered experiences, becomes a contemporary archive of our society by interfering with all our productions, regardless if it is art, politics or industry.

This compilation archive, which takes a direct reference for user experience from the behaviour patterns in our socializing practices and accessing information through our personal technological devices; it attempts to transform the "public-network" (internet) itself into a display space through social media profiles, online videos, podcast broadcasts and other digital sharing interfaces.

The audio, visual and written exhibition, completely embedded in the "cloud", takes the form of a semi-linear and multiple-choice route / network through the pursuit of 12 fictional persona.

Hosted by CABININ, the 12kernel archive-exhibition builds structures through social media channels similar to the networks formed by the relations and equivalences between the elements; it builds bridges between reality and fiction, document and story, which also define the structural strategy of the 7th Çanakkale Biennial.
