The “Cultural Heritage Regional Art Network: Gravitas” project, implemented by the Troy Culture Association with the support of the EU funded CultureCIVIC: Culture and Arts Support Programme, is grounded in the idea of establishing a regional art network that traces cultural memory shaped by narratives and mythologies, and seeks to reinterpret and render visible its physical manifestations that persist into the present through artistic practices.
Project partners—comprising art initiatives and spaces operating in Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ, and Edirne, as well as independent artists and cultural actors—will enrich this process over the course of a year through exchanges of knowledge and experience, with the aim of creating a sustainable ground for collaboration and production at the intersection of cultural heritage and art.
